CACOY DOCE PARES


The Eskrima style taught in the Ringside Gym is the Cacoy Doce Pares. Traditionally, there is no protective equipment for Eskrima training. In the modern way training and fighting is with protective equipment. Both aspects have a firm place in our training.

PHILIPPINE ESKRIMA

Eskrima or Arnis or Kali is the traditional martial arts of the Philippines in which among other machetes, knives and sticks are used as weapons.

GRAND MASTER JOHN MAC

 

The training takes place in collaboration with Grandmaster John Mac, 10th Dan / Black Belt, longtime sparring and training partner of the legendary Ciriaco Cacoy Canete. GM John Mac comes every year for several weeks to Berlin to give seminars and training.

We do not use sharp blades in training and instead use rattan sticks to minimize the risk of injury.

* In the case of an authorization for students / unemployed, an example of the duration of enrollment of the grant period may be required.

The training will take place under the guidance of Marcus Brosch. In addition, GM John John Mac will be personally in charge of training sessions with us in Berlin for a few weeks each year and share his experiences.

PHILIPPINE ESKRIMA TRAINER

Our team of trainers look forward to passing on the experience gained over the years directly to you and are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding training.

TRAINING TIMES / TRIAL SESSIONS*
*A sports health is required for the philippine eskrima training + trial sessions.

The course is aimed at anyone who is 16 years and over with no prior knowledge. Sportswear: long sports pants, T-shirt, we train barefoot or with comfortable indoor shoes. All information about the training times, training content and prerequisites and trial training are listed under the training group. Please try to be there about 15 minutes before the beginning of the training.
